Candle Care and Safety Instructions

CANDLES

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Place candle at a safe height and always in sight remember to extinguish when you leave the room.

Burn candles out of reach of children and pets.

Do not burn near flammable materials or heat sources and always leave at least 10cm between vessels.

Make sure your candle is level and on a fire resistant surface before burning.

Make sure decorative candles are placed on a fire resistant tray or coaster to catch wax drippings When possible use a candle snuffer to extinguish your flame.

Never extinguish the flame with water.

Do not let candle burn out completely. Leave at least 1cm of wax at the bottom as this can overheat the vessel/surface.

Trim the wick to 5-8mm each time before lighting.

Your first burn should reach desired melt pool to avoid tunnelling. For decorative candles this will be around the first hour, for containers this will be 3-4 hours. Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time

WAX MELTS

Suitable for use in both electric and tealight burners.

Follow your manufacturer's instructions on how to set up your burner safely.

If using a tealight, ensure it is unscented. Never leave a burning candle unattended

Remove all packaging before use do not add water.

Keep out of reach of pets and children and do not place next to other sources of heat.

Make sure the burner is at a safe height on a stable and fire resistant surface.

Do not let the burner overflow. Allow everything to cool and the wax to solidify before moving.

Store your wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep unused wax melts in packaging to keep them dust free

If you would like to change scent: when the wax has solidified, re-heat for around 15-30 seconds. This will loosen the wax and allow it to easily pop out with little pressure.
